Blue Cycle Training, based in Enfield, started teaching children and adults to ride bicycles in 2015 in partnership with a local Bike shop after I taught my 2 children to ride bicycles for the first time.
The business has grown from doing 3 or 4 Learn to Ride A Bicycle sessions a month to over 100 a month at weekends.
We have also been in to schools in Barnet, Enfield and Broxbourne to teach children to ride bikes in Years 1, 2 , 3 and 4
The Learn to Ride a Bike lessons are normally 1 to 1 but groups sessions with more than 3 children or adults can be arranged with additional instructors.
Over 90% of our customers are riding after their first lesson and often come back for a 2nd lesson to further practice their bike handling skills.
I provide bikes for the lessons and my fleet of bicycles available for my lessons have increased to over 100.
These range from Balance bikes and pedal bikes for children as well as a few bikes for Adults.
I use Frog Bikes for my lessons as these are some of the lightest bicycles on the market and I have a few that can be hired for a day, week, month or longer.
Blue Cycle Training holds weekend and holiday sessions at Keble School in Winchmore Hill, N21.
We have successfully run Half Term and other School Holiday Cycling Activities in Enfield and Broxbourne. More sessions are planned for 2025..
Other cycling activities including balance bikes and cycle skills lessons as well as Park Rides and Learn to Ride a bike on the road lessons.
